From our initial assessment, we get to know each person’s health conditions, physical capabilities and personal wishes whilst also assessing the Clients personality so that we can match the Client with the most suitable Care Assistant.

Many older adults find certain daily tasks challenging, which can make living independently difficult. Our Care Assistants provide respectful, compassionate assistance with a variety of daily living activities. This includes but is not limited to ~ personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Our goal is to empower the individual to stay in their own homes while reducing the risks associated with managing these activities alone.

3. Promoting Physical and Mental Well-being

Physical health is vital, but we also understand that mental well-being is equally essential to independence. Our Care Assistants offer not just physical assistance but companionship and meaningful engagement. 4. Medication Management and Health Monitoring

Managing medications can be complex, especially for seniors with multiple prescriptions. Our Care Assistants can prompt medication as required to ensure that there are no missed doses or incorrect dosages. Our Registered General Nurse Marie also provides routine Quality Assurance/Health Visits to each Client to ensure that each Client is thriving under the care of Affinity Plus.

We provide family members with the option of respite care, allowing them to recharge and focus on their own well-being. Our team is dedicated to keeping families informed about their loved one’s care, offering peace of mind that their family member is receiving professional support. We can also provide family members with resources and guidance to help navigate this journey, making it a truly collaborative effort.
